Overview

One of the SMA Foundation's most important functions is to broker the exchange of critical information and forge new collaborations/alliances. We collaborate with key research organizations worldwide and serve as a resource to SMA drug developers.

For many, the SMA Foundation serves as a hub and information clearinghouse for SMA. We connect diverse stakeholder groups that are critical to the development of therapeutics: pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, academia, non-profit/advocacy groups, clinicians/patients, government/regulators, and the media.
