Research Funding

Our current focus is on drug discovery and clinical development of SMA therapeutics. As a reflection of this focus, the SMA Foundation's external funding is limited in scope to work that will have an immediate impact on late translational research or clinical trials.

• Only principal investigators can apply for funding.
• Interested researchers should submit a letter of intent. All letters of intent and inquiries should be directed to [email protected].
• Grant applications are accepted by invitation only.
